Gambling problem... (PLEASE HELP)
-
Pick6so..i've got this gambling problem. My problem isnt that I do it too much, I dont do it enough.
Anyways..looking to get into sports gambling. Mainly want to take advantage of this 11 1/2 spread or whatever it is on the OSU-Nebraska game. I tried to get into it last year, but couldnt deposit money. I used betus, I believe. Something about it being illegal in the US so you have to use an international credit card or something.. So how did you guys get your funds deposited?? Also, what site do you use, recommend, etc.
Thanks -

TBone14It's tough now. I don't know of any sites that take American credit cards really. I know that Bookmaker.com used to, so try them or Sportsbook.com.
It is really easy just to Western Union them cash. You call them up and tell them you want to deposit. They give you a name to send it to in Peru or Nicaragua and then boom, money plus fees in the account. They will either Western Union your money back to your or some sites will Fed Ex you a check.
After what happened with the poker stuff, I was leary about having money in offshore accounts. My main site was BetUS and when they changed their domain name from betus.com to betus.com.pa and I read an article about sites having to change their URL to stay ahead of investigators I was outtie. Got my money out and now I just use a local guy. Obviously each has their advantages and disadvantages, but I am more confident that I won't get my money confiscated this way. -
Pick6just tried signing up on sportsbook, which is now sportsbook.ag by the way. The deposit is pending..so who knows if it will work.

What did you try and use? I've always used a visa card and I just put some money on there for the start of football and mine went through right away.Pick6;879760 wrote:just tried signing up on sportsbook, which is now sportsbook.ag by the way. The deposit is pending..so who knows if it will work. -

Ahh mines an actual credit card. It could also be since its the first time you used it. You still should be good though. Also I'd send in the documents to verify your account as well maybe that would help. If not at least you'll have that already submitted to withdraw money.Pick6;880123 wrote:my visa debit card -

Pick6ok, so it says it has to be open to international transaction, which my debit card isnt. Looks like I am going to try the Visa Gift Card route.

Visa Gift Card definitely works, that is what I use on Sportsbook. Just make sure you get the ones that can be used for online transactions.Pick6;880426 wrote:ok, so it says it has to be open to international transaction, which my debit card isnt. Also with each one you have to pay an activation fee, so if you can only find something like the $50 cards order them online in bigger increments. I think the site is gift2go.com or awards2go.com, something like that. I think you can get them in $250 cards.
Also I just saw another type of Visa Gift Card at the store the other day where you choose the increments of how much to load on it. These ones you can load up to $500 and the back says they will work for online purchases, but I haven't tried this one yet. -
TBone14So how do you guys cash out when you pay with a Visa gift card? You typically have to submit documents that match the billing address of the card on file.
And then do you just do a bunch of $250 deposits? Seems silly when you can just send one Western Union payment.
