The George Bush 9/11 Interview: 10pm on National Geo

    This should be pretty interesting.

I watched Rising: Rebuilding the World Trade Center a few days ago, which was VERY good.

Have them both set for the DVR. Will definitely watch tomorrow.

I watched Rising, I could not stop watching it. Amazing how much progress has been made. The museum is going to be amazing.
I'll watch the Bush interview. I don't expect much different than his book, which is goes into pretty good detail.

Watching it now, good stuff. Say what you want about Bush, I'm glad it was him and not Gore on that day.

Yeah, good stuff. I'm no fan of the former President, but I largely agree with how he handled the whole situation.

I don't think people thought we bombed ourselves rather than we knew what was coming and "let it happen." Money is a strong persuasive object. Someone made off on the deal and it wasn't the Americans that died that day or their families that still put faith in our Nation to tell the truth and provide closure....

There are a shitload of conspiracy theorists that believe we bombed ourselves just so we could go to war.

Very good show. Love him or hate him, I'm glad he was our president during that horrible time.

I enjoyed the part where he explained why he kept reading to the children. How he said as soon as he got word that the nation was under attack, he looked up and saw the press corps starting to get the news on their cell phones. He said the absolute last thing he could do at that point after seeing that, was jump up and run out of the room casuing panic.
