Monotonous Tasks
-
ernest_t_bassDo any of you hate doing random monotonous tasks throughout your day, and often put off doing them. They are really easy things to do, but you just don't feel like putting forth the energy? I often find myself doing this, especially on weekends. I will put forth energy to go to the garage and get another beer, go mow the yard, clean up, etc., but there are just certain monotonous tasks that I tend to put off.
What are some for you?
Brushing teeth in the a.m. (if not going somewhere. I will usually put it off until I have to go somewhere = hillbilly)
Tying my shoes (so easy to do, yet I hate doing it)
Taking a shower (in the summer, it's a tough one).
Getting up to get the remote that is on another chair, 5 feet away.
Taking out the trash
What say you? -

GoPensAgree with shaving. Only takes a few minutes but I hate doing it.

I Am AhabI hate shaving but in a sense I love it. I do it everyday (sometimes twice/day and can't stand the idea of going longer than that
without shaving. I guess shaving is the lesser of two evils. Not shaving being the other. -
