Does anyone drive an Acura or a Chevrolet?

Changing the timing belt is not cheap, although the newer ones may have a timing chain. (which probably lasts longer, but I bet is more expensive to change.)Etiam Imperdiet;872920 wrote:True about the Chevy part haha. At 200k+ did you have any repairs or just general maintenance as well? -
BR1986FBWaiting for a call back from the local dealership. Located a Synergy Green Camaro out of state hoping the local dealer can pull a transfer/trade on the vehicle.

BR1986FBFinally got confirmed after a few deals falling through. Take possession of this bad boy, likely next Wednesday except it will have black stripes down the hood and hockey stripes on the side...

Were going to go with a Mustang but the fattest, nastiest she-male bitch in town owns one and I just couldn't bring myself to it.ZWICK 4 PREZ;879377 wrote:Why in the world do you want a Slowmaro? -
said_aouitaI'd totally go with the Acura over the bankrupted company (thanks UAW) made Chevy. Or considering winter, if you don't like driving in snow, look at a Subaru.

My mom had two subarus and they were both great cars and great in snow. They were both leases so she did not keep them long enough to know how reliable they were when they had a lot of miles on them, but they were trouble free for the time she had them.said_aouita;879393 wrote:Or considering winter, if you don't like driving in snow, look at a Subaru. -

Is it an inspection, or scheduled maintenance?balk14;879432 wrote:with an acura u might wanna watch out for the inspections at certain mileages if ur on a budget...i just bought a bmw and have inspection 2 comin up soon which is gonna run about 600-800 bucks -

its a preventative maintenance kinda thing...they check all fans, belts, and filters (among other things) and replace any that are worn...a lot of people recommend switching out spark plugs around 60k miles too on luxury cars like bmw/acura/lexusFatHobbit;879433 wrote:Is it an inspection, or scheduled maintenance? -

My bro' has a subaru Forester. Loves it, by far his favorite vehicle he's ever owned.
Probably the best vehicle available for somebody who's on call for work and likes to do road trips during the winter.
(edit)
He's had it new for close to three years, no problems.....knock on wood.
