Police Officer gunned down moments after buying cookies for young boy.

    A police officer's random act of kindness was caught on tape last week, just minutes before he was gunned down. 'Today' correspondent Lee Cowan chronicles the touching story of Jeremy Henwood's final good deed. Footage from Henwood's funeral rolls as Cowan reports, "As thousands mourned the loss of San Diego police officer Jeremy Henwood last weekend, a quiet story of kindness began to emerge." Henwood, a Marine, had just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan only to be killed by a petty thief. "As the investigation continued and the eulogies were being written, this surveillance video surfaced," Cowan explains.

    In the footage, Henwood waits for his meal at a McDonalds when 13-year-old Damien Tinsley comes up to ask him a question. "I asked him for 10 cents, and he said 'What is the 10 cents for?' And I said 'Three cookies.' And he said, 'Well I could buy the three cookies for you,'" Tinsley recounts. In the security camera footage, Tinsley smiles as the officer chats with him and buys him cookies.

    I would not be surprised that an honorable cop would do something like buying ice cream or what not.

    Years and years and years ago cops back home in Cleveland would buy ice cream/candy for us if we did well in school and what not. Its no surprise.

    Stop trying to start shit, you arent good at it and like everyone else who tries you end up looking stupid when you have nothing to say or any proof or evidence to justify your ignorance.

    That was my point. Apparently it's because he can post whatever he wants. And he really likes just stirring shit with people and being a dick. So he only posts the bad stories. At least, that's how I interpreted his response to me.

    I read several dozen stories about cops doing their jobs properly, I didnt know I HAD to post those as opposed to whatever I wanted to post.

    Nice try Glory Days, but heres what youre (not surprisingly) missing.....

    I am not making baseless claims of someone, hell other than linking the topic about said crappy cop I dont even say much in the actual OP. What you said is "Why do you only post the bad stuff(sic)?" The answer to that is because I can. What I said is "You make a claim, back it up." It is not hard for anyone to spot the difference if they have even the slightest modicum of intelligence.

    You dont, but when you make a claim of someone no one will take you seriously unless you facts or evidence to support what you say.

    Are you really trying to compare what you said to I did? You are even less intelligent than you have already made yourself look.

    You are telling me to post two sides when I dont have to. I am telling you to post evidence to what you claim.
