O-TrapI'd say that, at that point, you keep getting to know her, but you do not get romantically involved until you're pretty good friends, and you know the kind of person she is.
At one point in college, I went about four months of dating two women at the same time. I ended up moving out of state and breaking it off with both of them (within about 5 minutes of each other over the phone). About two months later, my now wife and I began dating. We've now been together for 7 years, four of them as husband and wife, and I would not ever treat her the way I treated those two girls.
The point being that there is no one rule that dictates this situation. Much as we'd prefer it otherwise, life and people are too complex to fit into neat little boxes like "Once a cheater ..."
Get to know her. Keep her at arm's length, emotionally, and no romantic involvement until you know her like a good friend. -
