Browser?

ernest_t_bassWhat browser do you use? I currently use Safari 5.1, but I'm getting tired of it. The current version that I'm on, coupled with OSX Lion, sucks in my opinion. Thinking of switching to either Crome or Firefox. What browser do you use?

bigdaddy2003Firefox.

stationrunFirefox at home, Windows Explorer at work
-
Scarlet_BuckeyeI'm back to Firefox (5.0.1). Chrome is now my 2nd choice.

What was your issue with Chrome? -
Commander of Awesomejustincredible;858566 wrote:What was your issue with Chrome?
My issue with Chrome, and I'm sure its a setting that you can turn off, is when I set a new tab it lags and takes forever because its setting up your top websites. I just want a fresh page, found that annoying so I stopped using it. -
AutomatikAnyone use Camino on a Mac?
It was hyped for a while as being the best browser for OSX. -

I've never had that lag, but Chrome doesn't load up anything other than a simple link for my most visited sites and whatever chrome apps I have installed. When I hit cmd+t to open a new tab it's open and ready to go in less than half a second. -

I tried it a long time ago but dropped it for some reason. I think I didn't like the interface but I can't remember. -
Curly JI use Chrome at home and FireFox at work. The Wife uses FireFox at home.

Yeah same here. It worked great, fast as hell and then crashed a few times for no reason. After that I got Chrome and stayed with it. -

Dammit, I forgot that option in the poll. Fail. -
ernest_t_bassHave been using both Firefox and Chrome today to see which I like better. Not sure yet. One thing that I was getting used to in Safari (and loved it) was the two finger swipe to go back to your previous page. They do not have that in either Firefox or Chrome... unless it is in preferences. Haven't gotten that far yet.

With OSX Lion, three finger swipe takes you to your dashboard. -

Have the setting turned off on (OSX LION) preferences, how do you set it up on Chrome? -

dlazzFirefox is my main browser...I've been using Chrome recently but I've found a few annoying quirks that may result in me going back to Firefox.
Biggest gripe for me is the adblocker on Chrome is inferior than that on Firefox.
