OneBuckeyeFavorite apps? Good/bad things about the OS. I am getting a Droid tomorrow and am curious as to what apps you like.

pmoney25OS is the best I've used. I've used them all.
Must have apps
Imusic- unlimited mp3 downlaod which you can upload to computer.
Imeem-streaming internet radio.
Nesoid- nintendo emulator.
Google maps- free voice turn by turn directions.
Not to mention all the soundboards which are hilarious.there are literally Apps for everything. -
gutpmoney,
Can you tell me more about Imusic? do you have to pay? Is there limited selection? I've resisted buying MP3's because (maybe outdated) restrictions of the number of times you can copy to different media. Was thinking Napster could be good just to pay $5 a month and download unlimited songs using the phone as an Ipod, which with the Droid you now have a work-around to the pesky issue of portability (including in your car).
And a nintendo emulator! Last....bit....of....resistance....breaking down -
pmoney25Two versions of imusic. One is pay, one free. Main difference is paid version gives more search results. But free version has lots to offer. Plus you can stream song before downloading.
Also www.4shared.Com you can find a lot of the paid apps for free. Free site. Just look for files that end in .apk. for example documents to go (excel, word, powerpoint, pdf etch) normally 30 you can get for free.Plus you can do that straight from phone browser.
Also would recommend better keyboard app. Allows you to customize your onscreen keyboard with tons of different themes. I use a new orleans saints theme. Pretty cool. -
Glory DaysI have had a Droid for about a week. I have sorta browsed the apps but really dont have use for much. Google maps comes on it already, but i have a regular GPS so my phone would just be a backup one. Here is what i have so far:
Backgrounds (name speaks for itself)
Shot Tracker (measures golf shots using the GPS, wont be able to test it yet though)
Ultrachron Lite (Stop watch type app)
Zedge (Ringtones and alert sounds) -
ohiotiger33Do you guys have the Motorolla one? How does it compare to the IPhone. I have verizon, so it is obviously not an option.
