There's gotta be a way to BBM contacts via the computer. Anyone know how and care to share?

    Thanks

Look in the BB app world, there is a pay app that does exactly this. I forget the name of it.

I thought it was Big Bowel Movement.

Kik messenger on Droid > BBM

Yeah the app for the BB is free, but they get you by charging for the desktop client.

You could always get an iPhone.

iPhones now have iMessage. Same thing as BBM. I'm ready to turn to the darkside.

I've tried getting my friends to install & use G-Talk, but I just can't get enough of them to use it.

Most of the people I work with use GMail, and if you have a gmail account, you have a gtalk account.

But isn't Google Talk always connected and using data?

BBM was one of the main reasons I've stuck with a Blackberry. I still have tons of people using it, but I'm growing tired of Rim's shit OS.

By default I think it stays off...once you open it it'll sign you in automatically from that point onward.

    At least I think.

There's an option if you don't want it connected all of the time. It doesn't chew much data, anyways.
