  not a deal breaker, just odd how the half dozen serious relationships i have been in did not involve any tattoos. and its not the ink that makes their personality different, its their personality that makes them get the ink.

  But this is the kind of girl that would be fun for a bit, but I wouldn't want to permanently get involved with her.

  This is pretty much how I've approached it. Life is going on with or without her.
  
  As for the others who asked questions...Like I said, she went to mortuary school but has done little with that degree. Up until a few weeks ago, she worked at a shoe store making a decent salary but she broke her foot and was forced to quit. Idk what she does now but she told me she applied at a nearby hospital. She will be 25 years old in a few weeks, and lives in an apartment with an old friend.

  I agree with a few other on here that she sounds like a great time. If you can without getting attached, then hit that for as long as you can until she starts to lose her looks. But if you think you can't just have fun and not get attached you should probably run like hell because it sounds like she has been fairly clear that she doesn't want that and everyone else involved already told you she was a head case.

  Just because she likes you doesn't mean she wants a relationship with you.
  
  She's been clear she doesn't want a relationship yet you continue to think there might be a chance. Unless she clearly tells you she's interested in a relationship at this stage you shouldn't think there can be one.

  He's not probably right, he's exactly right. Don't get your hopes high, especially since she has flat out told you she doesn't want a relationship.

  Guess I should have clarified this better. Since I'm still 10 months remaining in school, I'm not looking to propose or marriage or kids or even living together. Just a steady relationship, someone you see 4-6 days a week. Someone you can depend on and be there for. I'm at least a a full year away from that other stuff.
  
  And don't get me wrong, I'm not following her around like a lovesick puppy. Back in June when she told me she liked me but couldn't be more than friends, I fucked off and left her alone. But seeing and talking to her these last couple days and seeing there's still a connection, it just made me wonder if I was falling asleep at the wheel by not pursuing it more. Okay, fine, she doesn't want the same stuff as me, but you still find other ways to keep in touch and maybe win her over in time.
  
  Bottom line, I basically created this thread to see how many people told me to stay away versus do what pnhasbeen said in post #8.

  Some girls are worth the wait and the effort. If you're into her, go for it. Just don't be pushy. If its there, she'll come around eventually. Took my guy over a year of me pushing him away. 3 yrs and a baby later he'll still tell you it was worth it. And I thank God he was man enough to go after what he wanted and risk getting hurt.
