You could follow that logic forever until you reach some "being" that had to be there in the beginning, lets call that "being" "God".
The best part of the Big Bang and all the physical constants we know (like gravitational constants, etc) being "just right" at the Big Bang has confused scientists for decades, they just can not figure out how something (the universe) came from nothing. -

good posts jmog. agree---the Big bang is a very viable theory knowing what we know. For a believer how that "something came from nothing" is easy if you believe in an/THE eternal God. But that's the step of faith that many---here or elsewhere---refuse to take. -
