Any Huddlers play iin a league. If so where and what do you throw. I havent played in a league in over two years but tonight i subbed for a friend and shot a 9 overall which makes me want to get back into it. Last time we played my team made regionals but lost to some sandbaggers.

I haven't thrown in a league in about 10 or 11 years. Used to love it though.

Used to play all the time. Cricket was my game too. Sadly, life got in the way of me playing.

I play cricket quite a bit, but have no clue how tournament darts work. Can someone explain??

Our league was best of 15 games each week partners style. You played 8 501 games 7 cricket games. In the middle there is a 1 v 1 cricket theb a 1 v 1 501 game. You also have handicaps so you might get or give up a couple marks each game

Our league also gave top 2 teams free trips to regionals and top teams in regionals go to vegas for nationals but there a lot of sandbagging that goes on at regionals and nationals.

Grew up with a dartboard in the basement....would go through about 1 a year. Had my own scoring rules but could hit a target nearly at will. This was back when they had normal games at the fairs and festivals and the carnies would run me off.....fast forward some 20 years later and my mom is having some party at a Jordan's Bar in Columbus and her friend insist we play. I had no clue how these games worked but had my mom tell me what to hit on the board and pretty much could. It didn't take long for her slightly drunk friend to start sceaming at me calling me a liar, sand bagger and some other things. She was not a typical principal! Lol

Sandbagging is when a team intentionally comes into a tournament with a low rating to get handicap help and dominate the tourney. Its busch league and can get you banned from the tournament if proven.

How do you go in with a low rating? How do you get a rating?

You haven't seen the commercial in reference have you?

Sandbagging has always mainly been a golfing term to me.

Usually your rating is determined by playing 10 games made up of 501 and cricket on the electronic dart board. When you start the league they use that rating for league matchs. When you get to the touraments your rating is changer depending on what you shoot in league. In league play though if your playing a bad team you can throw off a few rounds and still win ie sandbagging

We played twice a week but had to stop because of cost. Some of the high end darts can get expensive if you don't take care of them or lose them. My favorites were these beauties only because they would silence the opposing team when you were on your game.
