Fab 1 is the only one who was open minded that it might be a gov supplement program and the rest just attacked the messenger on how dumb i was. it is indeed a government supplement cell phone progaram.
    thank you again.

Ahh...the old "I was just testing you" line. It's one of my personal favorites. When you look crazy, it's always good to come back with that.

Bottom line, if you don't like the program...don't buy a cell phone. If enough people put the tinfoil on their heads and stop using cell phones, this program would not have the funding needed and would go away.

Without that little ditty none of this is possible. I say we go back in time and break his legs.

I was willing to accept that both are true.

Belly, i do have have question for you... i have never been in a situation to hire people and now it is thrown into my job description. As an elder like you, knowing you own a few businesses do you have any advice to hiring people?
i have no problem with hiring, its the firing (if i make a mistake). i dread the thought of telling someone your done.don't want to hire the wrong person.
i have 28 years in my field and i know my job, but judging people is not my strong suit ( i try and find the best in everybody unlike some on this site) ha. The new hires are for the NY area so i will not be able to have a hands on experience. Thanks

There is no easy answer or magic ball when it comes to hiring and firing …
Know the rules and the do and do not type question you can ask…
Don’t sugars coat the job expectation and be honest about the expectations.

I look for the “tells” in the individual .. That nerviness knee bouncing, the touching of the hands together, the wiggle in the chair …. Do they look at me …eye contact during the conversation.

Do they display confidence or are they a beaten by the task of job hunting.

Does my gut tell me they will be a good “fit” to the company and the department…

I have had good hires and I have had bad .. (really bad) it’s a crap shot

Hell! I been hired and fire by three companies 2 time each and one hired me back a third time..
