    I agree with that.

The retail aspect and mass volume will be manufactured in China but the components and a special hex code will let me develop and custom design from the same product with high profits for specialty application. I am trying to bring jobs back not piss them away like Unions do. I will pay good wages, provide safety for my employment and benefit for a job will done but I will not be told what to do, how much to pay and what is required of me as a employer. You want to Unionize go circle jerk around a burning 50 gallon drum…
No one is told what to do as no company is required to accept union proposals/contracts.

Those bosses don't tend to keep those good employees for very long.

Ok, then why are jobs leaving this country? Unions are about 90% of the problem.

There are a whole multitude of reasons that don't involve unions at all.

I second that ... Look at main street (Wait he does mention main street any more ...) why because it is closed store and empty building where people had dreams and goals and dedication to be prosperous...

If you are the best at what you do, have knowledge of your field and work hard and have a good attitude... you are worth twice as much to a wise and knowledgeable employer.
The cost of training cost of hiring, cost of losing that know how and knowledge is priceless. Good companies and good owners understand this. One knowledgeable employee is worth the price to keep them … However there is a fine line to job important and wages and both should be understanding to this factor. Pay is not always the benefit that can keep a good employee (flex hours, extra vacation days, tattoo fund, drugs and beers at lunch are just examples of other perks)

Union only has a few thousand people, I'm not sure they're the cause of manufacturing leaving the country.

Thus is the problem, assuming anyone to be wise and knowledgeable is a terrible idea as we know many are not.

If a business isn't profitable, it won't employ anyone. If a business is less profitable than its competitors, investors will go to those competitors and they'll widen their leader. A business has to exist to maximize its long-term profit. To do otherwise is to go out of business.

I'll admit unions have definite drawbacks, people don't have to come in and if you call off, oh well. However at my job I won't lie, the head people are mostly just absolutely brutal, the other day they called some new kid retarded and that he should go across the street and shred paper all day. I laughed but I mean that poor kid just started and to talk to a new employee like that is terrible. I think small companies are okay to be non union but those large corporations aren't about being personal with an employee...it's about squeezing an absolutely crazy number out of some person. Too worry about your job security on top of that is an absolute crazy amount of stress

Speaking of unions, it was completely unnecessary for you to resurrect a week-old thread.
