Cotton candy vodka
-
friendfromlowryI was at the liquor store yesterday buying some Pinnacle whipped cream vodka (which I admit sounds gay) but it's my girlfriend's favorite and we've all at one point or another drank something feminine so whatever. For what it's worth, I would have been trying the honey-flavored Jack Daniels, but I already have some American Honey in the fridge. Anyways, I noticed that Pinnacle had quite the selection of flavored vodkas, most notably cotton candy. Anyone have an idea of what you could mix cotton candy flavored vodka with? Obviously you could drink it straight, but I'm intrigued and want to know what it would be good with? I'm half-tempted to go back and buy it and spend some time this evening experimenting. I think my first try would be Pepsi or Coke, but after that I'm not sure.

Belly35Pinnacle whipped cream vodka w/ Vernors ginger ale is what my wife loves. I’m not a fan but it does taste like a cream soda soft drink

I'm not too worried about your opinion. -
O-TrapMy wife hates liquor except for the cotton candy vodka from Pinnacle. She does shots of: cotton candy vodka, grape juice, cranberry juice, and a little bit of actual cotton candy (which dissolves, so I don't understand the fascination).
She says they're good. I've never had it, though. -
BR1986FBWhere do you find this vodka in NE Ohio? My girlfriend has been bitching about wanting to try some.

TiernanOK I stand corrected...we have a NEW dumbest craze.

HereticAh, I remember the good ol' days when the important thing about liquor was how high the alcohol content was.
No wonder kids can't play dodgeball any more...in an era where getting a good drunk on is losing its manliness due to things like cotton candy vodka, nothing is safe. -

Were you around for the days of 3.2% beer? -
HereticNo. Even though that might be higher than stuff I drank in college like Milwaukee's Best Light. Guh...feeling mildly ill just thinking of that swill...

Back when I was a kid there was 3.2% and, I believe 6% beer. Younger kids were always trying to get the higher powered stuff. Ahhh...nothing like downing a few Little Kings or Mickey's Big Mouths at 7am just prior to school in 5th grade...but I digress. -

We owned the grocery store in the town I grew up in so I had unlimited access to candy, pop, whatever. -
Fab4RunnerNever had the cotton candy variety but the Pinnacle whipped cream and cake flavors are good. Wildcats and I got a free shot made with the cake vodka and it tasted like strawberry shortcake.
You can never go wrong with Sprite, IMO. I use it for pretty much all of the flavored vodka and rum I drink. -
ernest_t_bassI might buy some for the wife.

power iI'd drink it with sprite. Might have to try this. I'm a huge flavored vodka girl.

Giant Eagles that have the liquor store carries it as well as any standard State Liquor Agency.
For the record, whipped cream pinnacle is the shit mixed with orange pop (creamsicle) root beer (float) and cherokee red.
