If ur phone runs 2.2 or higher you should take ur task managers off... They can cause a lot of issues on the phone

Really? Then how do you kill your apps and stuff?

yeah those task killers actually take up more memory than the apps they kill i believe. just go into your settings every now and then under "Applications"-"Running services". you can close apps there that may be running in the background that you dont want running.

My task managers don't run. I use the Advanced Task Killer widget for one-click killing of all processes including Advanced Task Killer. About once a day I open up Mini Task Manager to kill other processes not caught by Advanced Task Killer. Both force close themselves. Using them is the same thing as going to Manage Applications and force closing the open apps... doing that opens the "Settings" app and doesn't close it, so...

Thanks, Just downloaded this one. I've accidentally dialed people in the past. Once my phone dialed my Boss on it's own when I set it down...at 10pm at night. (not good)

Task Killers basically force your phone to kill apps when it isn't necessary. The phone will unpage stuff from RAM if it runs out. For example,

If you run A, B, C, and then go to open D but it requests more memory than is available, A will get unpaged to free up enough memory for D.

    Task Killers are harmful because
    A) they kill everything, sometimes important stuff
    B) they kill programs that will simply turn around and re-open themselves, resulting in wasted CPU time/battery

Download any music you own to your phone( call me bc I know your 2 stupid to know how to do it) and use an app from the market to cut it to the size file you want.

    Download free songs here: http://m.beemp3.com/

just download, don't send to phone....

Every time I get off a phone call, finish texting, or playing a game, I kill all tasks before locking my phone. There's no need to have 12 apps running on my phone just 'cuz I called someone, and killing all 12 and letting 1 or 2 of them re-open is fine with me. Plus, most task killers have an "ignore list", too, which you can use to not kill the "important stuff" you talk about.

TwinPic3D- For HTC EVO 3D ONLY!!!
    http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1164164

Anyway - from #teamwin, I'm here to announce Twin Pic!

Ever been frustrated about not being able to share your 3D pics with your friends? Well, look no farther! Twin Pic does just that . It is essentially MMS picturemail without using MMS at all!

This uses google's push notification API (just like Gmail uses), so it doesn't use battery.

You can send any picture format (3d pics included!), and the app is free! The receiving friend will get a push notification when they have received a pic, and clicking the notification will display the image using HTC's 3d-capable gallery.

To send a TwinPic to someone, just use the "Share" menu on a picture, and it will prompt you for a contact. Select the contact that you want to send it to (note that both people must have TwinPic installed in order to share), and poof, it's that easy!

If you want to reply or forward a TwinPic from the history menu, long press an item in the history list and select one of the choices .

This is the beta version, so if you have any crashes, suggestions, etc, please post them here and we will gladly look into it .

    DOWNLOAD --> http://tinyw.in/1z4

Also! To facilitate 3D picture sharing, I'll keep a list of email addresses that people are willing to share so they can test sending/receiving 3d pics. I'll start:

EDIT: I moved the public list here.
