I know a situation where a stepmom took the biological mother to court for visitation rights for her stepson (who hated the stepmom, BTW). The judge said "who are you?" She said "I'm his stepmom." The judge basically said "wtf...get out of my court. You have NO rights." -

THE4RINGZThe fact she actually has a kid is frightening.

BR1986FBThe worst part is that I've seen situations where a guy has taken on the "fatherly role" for years, finally had them take a DNA test on the kid, found out it was NOT his and the judge STILL made him pay child support because he took on that parental role. Now THAT'S some bullshit, IMO.

My uncle had this happen. In his case, his ex-bitch knew it wasn't his all along and at some point told the daughter. She quit going to see him (despite the custody order) and a few years later (he still paid the whole time), he had the DNA test. Obviously, he found out she wasn't his so he tried to get out of the child support. Nope. Had to keep paying til she was 18 even though by that point they hadn't really spoken in several years. -

And people wonder why dudes go all "OJ Simpson" on a bitch? I have no kids but I'd lose my friggin mind if something like this happened to me. But then again, I'm so paranoid that I'd have the DNA checked BEFORE I signed any legal papers. I likes my money... -
BR1986FBAnd by the way, if the father of this stupid bitches' kid died in a car accident 7 years ago she should be collecting social security. If she's going to college the dumbass is wasting her money.

enigmaaxDude finds out his wife cheated and the kid isn't his. Still gets hit wtih $1300 a month in child support, $1700 in alimony. Pays the child support, refuses the alimony, and spends 60 days in jail (of a 6 month sentence). Finally gives in while his bitch talks shit in the newspaper.

Here's what I found to be the best part:
So wait, an online service for cheaters is beneath a bitch who bore a child out of an affair and still nailed the ex with child support? Fucking people.Late last week, the Keefes rejected an offer from AshleyMadison.com to pay Keefe's alimony. Caroline Keefe said they were not interested due to the nature of the company. Ashley Madison is an online dating service and social network service marketed primarily to people who are already in a relationship. -

Why didn't he just stop paying his child support? My brother-in-law has a similar situation, where his daughter does not want to see him. He still pays support so they can never "say he didn't." She's almost 18, so we're real happy for him. -

I think it was his new wife that said they were not interested, not his ex. But I would not have turned down $17,000. That's fucking crazy. -

It was automatically withdrawn from his check, I believe. I also think he didn't want to be labeled or have any future court hassles. Also, despite the fact that she didn't visit, I don't think he ever really stopped thinking of her as his daughter - he was pretty hurt by the whole thing. He had to fight pretty hard in the early years just to get to see her a little bit. They did eventually patch things up (not that he did anything wrong) before he passed away.ernest_t_bass;819386 wrote:Why didn't he just stop paying his child support? Yeah, duh - that makes much more sense. I didn't read closely enough.
