Hocking Hills Canopy Tours

Anyone ever done this? I'm going tomorrow with my girlfriend, mom, and little cousin.

We're probably going to do the SuperZip so the total price is $105 per person. My little cousin gets in half off. 3 people for $105 and 1 person for $52.50. Total: $367.50 plus tax.

The thing that my mom and I are having an issue with is that on their website and the lady my mom talked to on the phone says to bring cash for tipping. Tipping? For what? We're already paying $400 for this. What other cost do we need to tip for.

    What say you?

I've done it and it was a blast. We didn't tip anyone and I don't know why you would.

That's what I'm saying. The company is pushing it so my mom says there's no reason to punish the worker. I still don't like it. It's not like he's getting paid a servers rate.

    It's on their webpage.
Please remember to bring cash for tipping & souvenirs.

Which is what I said in the OP. My question is what am I tipping after already paying $400?

We went last fall and had a great time. I think we're going to line up another trip for early October this year. I dont remember anybody in our group tipping either. I cant believe how expensive this has got over the last couple years, I remember when they first started

A couple of the guides were a little creepy with one of my coworkers. They were giving her a little too much attention. Haha

They do have a little place to eat in there. Maybe that's it?

My friend's family owns Tree Frog Canopy Tours near Mohican and I can't wait to go. We are hoping to get everyone together later this summer or fall.

It's pretty cool. Did it a few years ago. Our guides were pretty good so I think I tipped each of them but I don't think you should feel obligated.

I actually tipped the kid at Lowes a couple weeks ago that loaded mulch for me. He was shocked so maybe I'm just generous.

Haha well yeah. But tipping is generally 15-20%. Makes it like $16 per person. If they wanted us to tip they should just add it in the cost. (It looks like they have)
