    In Melbourne, Fl. a 110 lb. lab dog was attacked in a back yard by an 11 ft. gator. A trapper wearing flip flops killed it with a bang stick, video in link

    Wow is that lucky. Gator chomp could easily smash a head into nothing if the gator had so chosen to do so. Thats a pretty badass experience to live through though!

    In fact, in the past 3 years, there have been 3 alligators caught in Akron Ohio.

    Ouch! I love to snorkel and scuba. Dont mind doing it in saltwater in the ocen where sharks can be present, but I dont think i would do it where gators would be.
