oberhausLooking at getting a projector TV for my basement. Any suggestions?
-
j_crazydont.
that's my honest suggestion. -
oberhausOk...pros and cons?
-
j_crazy1. they're huge
2. for a good one they're expensive
3. lamps still go bad.
4. anything not remastered, or shot in high definition (i.e. lower resolution shit) will look like shit. -
oberhausHuge? A projector that mounts to the ceiling or wall?
-
j_crazythe box.

bo shemmy3337Yea I would not even think about a Projector TV. Either LCD or Plasma. If it is going to be in a dark room than go with the plasma as they are cheaper and look a little better IMO but they glare something horrible so they have to be in a dark room. If there is windows, go with a LCD for sure.

yeah but if you've got like a 100" area on a wall where you can put your screen i'd say do it. -
