Lets see how my weekend went.
8am July 3rd, left for Senecaville Lake
9am explode trailer tire on 70 WB
9:05 am realize trailer spare will not hold air under weight of trailer
11am Roadside tire service finally show up and puts $300 tire on trailer
Noon finally get the boat put into the water and idle out to open water where I realize the chop is 4-5 feet. Very uncomfortable and not fun
4pm boat will not start unless trying to crank it under high throttle
7pm get campsite set up and storm blows through
Midnight teens walking through the campground shot a slingshot at my boat, luckily it only hit the trailer but the lead ball took out a big chunk of finish
Everything this morning went fine, but the trip was an absolute disaster. Senecaville Lake was absolute shit. The chop was insane, there was only 1 public ramp in use and the access roads were so narrow that when the ramp backed up, you couldn't get out of the parking lot. The Boat Swim area has nothing to separate it from the main lake so the chop is just as bad and the wakes from the boats in the open area toss you around.
