Siesta Key Suggestions

  • joebaseball
We are heading down to Siesta Key in a few weeks and I'm looking for suggestions for restaurants or bars that we should hit up. We plan on hitting Yoder's in Sarasota but that is the only thing on the agenda so far.

Nothing girly about drinks that have shots of 151 added on the top and bottom

    Cha Cha Coconuts.

There is a good restaurant a little north on Anna Maria Island called the Beachhouse....you can watch dolphins while you eat.

I live in the Sarasota area and I would suggest Monks in Gulf Gate, Great seafood. There is a good Mexican joint at University and Tuttle behind the Publix that is very good. A good place for lunch is the Hob Nob, the grouper sandwich is excellent. If your into buffets, which I'm not but love this one, go to the Super Buffet on the northeast corner of Fruitville and Honore just east of Publix.

If you get the chance take a boat ride to cabbage key, it's worth it.

LOL...Publix...I miss that place! It was the Mercedes of grocery stores....Kash and Karry was the Pinto.

A friend of mine lives in the Jax area and I love it up there. Good stuff down here, come check our area out, I think you'd like it.
