Do you have a weakness for purchasing certain items?

ZWICK 4 PREZFor me it's easily golf clubs. Irons specifically. I am a true club ho. The worst thing I can is go into a Golf galaxy b/c I always walk out with something. I only have 2 iron sets that I play religiously, but I buy and sell atleast a dozen sets a year. I just bought some Ping S59 tours last night. I certainly don't need them and will probably never use them more than twice, but I bought them anyways. I have a buddy who's like this with fishing equipment and hunting equipment. I know people who are like this with shoes. Some with tools.
How about you? Is there anything specifically you typically will buy that you don't need. -

Go4alOngbOmBI need to buy a better set of Irons, I have a Set of Out of Sites that I have worn to DEATH for years, and they are starting to lose distance and spin because I have played them so much. I thought of getting grafite shafted Irons this time, but Im scared of the slice I have with my grafite driver happening with my irons. Either way....I need a new set, its hard to get my 7 and 8 irons to set down when they hit a green these days! (tho I just bought a new lob wedge last week, and am heading out in an hour to play it for the 1st time, fingers crossed)
As for something I buy too much of, LOTTERY Tickets! I have a mild gambling addiction. -

Con_AlmaThere's nothing in the world that I have a weakness for letting my money go to. You have to pry money out of my hand even for the things I need.
Material stuff doesn't excite me too much. -

I Wear PantsWhy would you buy irons that frequently? Irons are the clubs that I want to change the least since I feel like I need to be comfortable and familiar with them to play consistantly.

b/c, as I said, I have no real intentions of changing them. I play with 2 sets depending on the course or how my swing is at the time. But I'll pick up a set if I like the looks of them or heard good things about them and hit them at the range and if they surprise me, they make it to the bag.
I played with copper eye2's for years until I picked up a set of i3 blades and they replaced them. Same with my Wilsons. I played with fg 17's for a long time until the fg 59's replaced them.
I'll buy a different set and hit them a few times and sell them. You never know when you'll run across the next set you'll keep. -
fan_from_texasI generally don't shop much at all and don't like spending money, as pretty much all of it goes toward paying down the mountain of student loans. My one weakness, though, is that I'm a board game collector, so I semi-routinely find great deals on eBay for classic games that have been out of print for decades. No one is likely to play them with me, and I'm not likely to play them much myself, but it's a bit of a hobby. Over the past 15 years, I've acquired somewhere north of 100 or so games.

Laley23Soccer cleats, and just sports apparel in general (Under Armour, Nike, and Addidas). My friend works at Team Sports in Toledo, so he gets the stuff about a year before it goes public and for way cheap. This is not a good combination for my wallet.
