Your GAME OF THE NOW
-
HereticWe've have plenty of threads concerning what video game you're looking forward to and what old-school stuff you think is awesome, so let's discuss the stuff you're currently playing for great fun!
For me, it's Red Faction Guerrilla. It's basically a wet dream put on a disc. A sandbox-style game where the main thing you do other than mandatory missions is simply destroy everything you can. Checkpoints, buildings, bridges, soldiers, whatever. You bash them with a hilariously super-powered sledgehammer, you detonate charges on them, you slam into them with dump trucks...whatever gets the job done. I'm pretty sure there's some "liberate teh peoples" plot, but who cares? Just let me blow shit up and I'm happy as hell! -
I Wear PantsStarted another playthrough of Oblivion yesterday since I just finished doing pretty much everything in Morrowind again.

I need to pick Oblivion back up sometime. I've finished the godly Shivering Isles expansion (which means I'm both the MAD GOD of this site and that game's world!) and done a good number of things in the main game, but haven't played it in a while. I'd like to beat all the guilds, arena, main plot, Knights of the Nine before I play Skyrim (which likely will be a good bit after it comes out in order to wait for things like "game of the year edition" copies with the key DLC included, bug-fixes, etc.
It's sad how much I still have to do, despite having over 100 hours invested. Games today...insanity. -

gorocks99Still getting miles out of Fable 2 and MLB 2K7. I haven't bought a game since Fable 2, although the new NCAA has my attention, as do a few other titles.

I think I've put in well over 400+ hours, maybe 500...into playing and replaying Oblivion GOTY. It's the White Album of video games for me.Heretic;794109 wrote:It's sad how much I still have to do, despite having over 100 hours invested. Games today...insanity.
Right now I'm revisiting GTA IV - fun, but not a classic like Vice City or San Andreas (and the radio stations play much much shittier games).

Sure you don't want to play 11 ?
P.S: I've never beaten anymore 22-1. The best I've ever had was like 13-0 -
McFly1955Just beat LA Noire last night....
I'll be playing Alan Wake (single player) and Brink (multiplayer) over the coming weeks, maybe months....
I'm not really planning on buying anything until Gears 3, Battlefield 3, MW 3, and SKYRIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....Probably Uncharted 3 too.. -
Commander of Awesome
Favorite game of all time. Can't wait for Skyrim. I'm waiting for a co worker to finish LA Noire so I can borrow it off of him. Other than that just been playing Geometry Wars 2 and meaning to finish Fallout NV but never feel like playing it. Fallout 3 > NV.Heretic;794109 wrote:I need to pick Oblivion back up sometime.
