Have yu been to RAX lately

  • thavoice
Stopped by a Rax in bellefontaine on Sunday. Used to be one locally and figured what the heck.

    WOW.

    EXPENSIVE.

A JR Rax sandwich....that has barely any meet on it....was two bucks. A deluxe sandwich was getting up towards north of 6 bucks.

It was amazingly expensive. We didnt wanna just drive away so we got a jr rax and a sloppy joe and it was four plus bucks and then took kids to mcdonalds.

I forget why Rax went the way of the dodo bird ....was it their prices?

Saw the title and thought Hooters had changed their name. Have never eaten at a RAX.

They were a lot like Arbys. I used to love Rax and was sad when they all (most?) closed.

Hoosters....Racks.....snack trays.....Nay-Nays.....fun bags....sweater monkeys....emersons....ta-ta's.....all valid names Hooters could change to.

Rax is like arbys...same sort of place

In my experience, their food is expensive but good.

    Sloppy joe?

yeah....the cheapeast sandwichs were two bucks....a jr roast beef and a sloppy joe so got one of them. Sloppy joe had more meat and was better than the Jr RB....that had barely any roast beef.

Arby's Jr roast beef is a dollar and some change.

Always enjoyed the BBC at Rax.

Where's the Rax at in Bellefontaine? Gonna be going thru there sometime this week and I used to love Rax.

I haven't been to Rax in at least 15 years. I was never a big fan. When I go to Arby's I get chicken...no roast beef for me.

its on the main exit off of 33 across from McDonalds.

    Thx

No problem. I think the deluxe monster sandwich was like six fifty!
My wife and i were like.....wtf!

Real roast beef costs money. The frankenheiffer Arby's uses barely tastes like old newspapers.

You get what you pay for.
  • thavoice
Roast beef tasted the same to me......the little that they put on there

I remember eating at Rax when I was younger.

I remember this from about 1979 or so (I think)

Some guy asked me if Santa Clause could live forever......

I said yes, because he is a zombie and could live of young childrens brains.

    RAX > Arby's

I concur with just about everyone. The food is great (second the comment on the BBC) but it is somewhat expensive. There is still a RAX on the south end of Parkersburg WV. If I'm in town, I sometimes swing by there.

There's still quite a few just in Ohio - and they even plan for Circleville.

had no clue they were still around, thought the whole company went under. Arby's juniors are $1.00, guess that shows why RAX couldn't compete.
  • tuskytuffguy
RAX ROX. Was always better than Arby's.

Got Rax on Rax on Rax

Cheapskate... You couldn't even provide the kids with a taste of classic roast beef harmony. McD's has shit on Rax, same as Arby's. Rax was the absolute shit and I would pay 20 bucks a samich right now if they were close... You parental proverbial cock block...
