Mentor/friend died last night at 47

  • ZWICK 4 PREZ
A fellow EE I work with who "showed me the ropes" so to speak passed away in his sleep last night. His wife called me this morning to tell me. We play basketball together once a week and he's in very good shape. Very shocking to say the least. Never know when it's your time I guess.

She's not sure. She noticed he wasn't responding to his alarm and tried to wake him and noticed he was gone.

Thasts horrible for her to find him like that. Sorry to hear this. Something similar happened to a girl in my high school class. Went to bed early on a Friday night (no drinking or drugs involved) and didn't wake up saturday morning. They never discovered what caused her death.

    Thanks everyone.
It's weird because we golf in a league together on wednesday nights (tonight) and last week he was telling me how his friends were starting to pass away and it scared him. Then a week later he's gone. I'm obviously not going to golf tonight, but I'm not sure if I should just find 2 people to play for us for the rest of the year or not. I'm not sure I'd have much fun the rest of the year.

Give updates when you find out the cause, if you don't mind. Scary indeed.

    1. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend Zwick.
    2. What is your obsession (ETB) with finding out what the cause was?
