    Per the news, the Joplin tornado is now tied for the deadliest single tornado in recorded US history with a death toll of 116, but it is still possible for more to be discovered. It is tied with a tornado that touched down in Michigan back in 1953, so it is the worst since then (almost 60 years).

    One of my clients at work (a major church in Central Ohio) is raising funds to send 40,000 lbs. of food, bottled water, and clothing to Joplin.

    A buddy of mine had his house annihilated in Oklahoma. Can not begin to imagine what it would be like to see your town flattened. All he has really said is, "Looks like a scene out of a movie. Wow."
