Old school video games
-
bigdaddy2003I broke out the original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega, and Nintendo 64 today. Plan on hooking all of them up throughout the week. I love these old games. Anyone else still have these older systems or am I the lone one? Ha
-

Do you use a nes style computer controller or keyboard? I was thinking about buying a controller -

This. Well, I HAVE a Nintendo, but I don't think "system that no longer works unless you fiddle with it for 10 minutes" really counts as a working system. -
robj55My cousin has around 530 NES games, by far the largest collection I have ever seen lol

I had this problem until I replaced the 72 pin connector and now it works fine. I don't know for how long but for now I am good to go. -
HeelzI have Sega and 64, every once in a while I get them out. On Sega I'll play some Mortal Kombat I and MKII mostly and NBA Jam along with NBA Live 96 and if I'm feeling froggy NFL football 94 with Montana on the front.

bigdaddy2003I realize most people have the new systems and don't worry about playing these old games but I really liked the 3 Nintendo games I named earlier and I already have the systems/games. I would have to go spend a load of loot to get a new system and enough games to suffice.

HereticMy favorite memory of Simon's Quest was that one time I was walking in one of the castles and some of those blocks I was walking on really didn't exist. They were those special Nintendo illusion blocks where everything looks cool, but when you walk over them, you just fall through them into spiky pits and such things.
Nintendo: Teaching young minds that they will be fucked by life. No matter what. -

Ha wow. I can actually agree with some of that. I always liked the game though. -
Commander of AwesomeI've never played it, but thought it was funny. That is I think his first or one of his first vids. They got better.

He makes valid points in the Simon's Quest video. -
tuskytuffguyBeen digging one of the N64's finest games, Perfect Dark. However, playing it on XBOX, but it's still same game, only now it looks better, since it's in HD.
-
like_thatI have the NES, Genesis, and Saturn (lolfail). My favorite genesis game had to be mutant league football.

I've got a Genesis I'll ship to you for $15 with two controllers, NBA, NCAA FB & a Golf game.
I swear you'll get it in less time that it takes to ship at Olive Garden gift card to Hicksville.
