Do you believe in Ghost?
-
vikingcaptain82I love Ghost Hunters/ TAPS, and watch it whenever it is on. My question to the OC is, does anyone on here believe in Ghost? Whether yes or no, explain. I kind of have mixed emotions when it comes to ghost. I don't think it is so much ghost, as it is demons/evil spirits. Now, I don't want to get blasted, that is just my opinion. What do you say?

HitsRusVery simply, I believe there are more dimensions of time and space than we can physically sense and are aware of. Modern day physics theory supooorts this. Perhaps some people are more perceptive in this regard and can get shadowy glimpses into these areas.

CenterBHSFanI believe they could be around. Why not?

Bigred1995NO! How does light interact with them, but they're able to pass through walls? How are they able to float, but still be tied to the Earth by it's gravity? How can it be tied to the Earth with gravity, but be able to pass through walls? How are the able to create sound, but have no physical features to move the air to create that sound? You can continue to ask all kinds of questions like these!
What I do believe is that there are phenomenon coupled with human imaginations that create ghost. -

mcburg93I work at a bar on occasions and on one instance i was working there saw something that made me a believer. No one was in there and I heard the door open so i got up to serve who ever it was. As I got up looked over and it was a guy in a flannel shirt and a rimmed hat on. He walked into the bathroom and I heard the door open and shut and locked. I went and got a mt dew outta the cooler and waited for him to come outta the bathroom. The guy never did so i went to check on him and the door was locked so i went and got the key. I opened the door and there was nothing there no one it was weird as hell. I didnt share this with anyone for about a year or so and then one of the other bartenders started talking about a similar instance but the person walked outta the bathroom and left the bar. Yea this made me a believer cause she describe the guy to the tee that i had seen.

Curly JI believe in ghosts. Seen one several times as a kid. I typed the long story out on another ghosts topic a while back....found it, Sept of last year.
"I've had a few encounters. When I was growing up a figure of an older woman would appear to be walking up the steps of our porch. My Dad thought it was His Mother-in-Law who lived down the street. My Mom thought it was our Neighbor who would come over to use our phone. Turned out it was neither. It would appear at night as a white figure and during the day as a grey shadow. I was the only one that saw her someplace other than going up the porch. I saw he walking beside the porch and I could only see the upper part of the body. I thought she was a neighbor Claudia that always wore a white leather jacket and walked real stiff. I looked out the window saw her, then told Mom that Claudia was coming. The figure then moved up the steps, Mom went to the door, and no one was there. She then called Claudia who said she has been inside all night.
I had a cousin. who was close to my Dads age, that saw it too. (Twice in one night). He and Dad were watching a Univ of Kentucky basketball game, when the figure appeared. He got up and went to the door, but nothing was there. He was a little puzzled and sat back down, Dad and Mom said nothing knowing what it was. Later during the game it appeared again. He turned to my Dad and said 'Aren't ya going to get the door?'. Dad said 'Na, that's just our Ghost'. Eddie chuckled and said 'was that what I saw earlier?'.
We moved from there in 1978 and I've never had an experience again. I've always wanted to go back and ask the people that lived on the lot after us if they encountered anything. Every time I've checked the lot is always empty." -

The other side of this would be to purport that someone who dismisses paranormal phenomenon lacks the cognitive ability to envision anything beyond their sensory experience.Do I believe in ghosts? No, i'm not 9
'Do I believe in paranormal phenomenon?...well yeah, I can imagine a multiverse with multiple dimensions that exists beyond my ability to fully experience it. It's not like I'm 9 years old.' -
GOONx19I had a few confrontations with them during my childhood. They looked like this.
