Ugh... While I agree with you, are you 100% sure that China tests EVERYONE like we do in the USA?
This. I hate when people say China is ranked #1 when it comes to education. If we just tested all of the kids who go to college, we would be up there too. -

passwordWhat the hell is going on here? I thought the thread title said, "Is anyone following the James Tate Porn saga". I figured it was another Teacher/Student hookup thread.

A story about a teacher and student who make a sex tape?
That thread would be instant OCHOF worthy. -

That wasn't my point, I could care less how China tests their students. -
sportswizuhrdJust heard on MSNBC that the principal has reversed their decision and the kid is now allowed to go.

While Rodrigues was charmed, school principal Beth Smith was annoyed. She banned Tate, 18, and two accomplices from attending the prom, and ordered all three to serve a day of in-school suspension -
krambmanccrunner609;768516 wrote:So you break into the school to hang a sign........that should get you a suspension (1 day seems lenient).......not allowed to go to prom after already serving a penalty = double jeapordy. Serving 2 punishments is wrong and the principal should have to decide which one she wants to hang on the boys.
You really are an idiot, aren't you?
The sign was on the outside of the school. No one broke into the school building.
Also, double jeopardy refers to being tried a second time for something you were acquitted of, not serving two punishments. And serving a suspension and being banned from prom weren't two punishments either, the were two parts of one punishment, kind of like when someone has to serve time in jail then do community service.
It really is amazing that you're allowed to call yourself an educator. -

The Hall of Pwn is the works, very difficult to get going with the minor league search function though. Also the pwns have to be approved by the entire First Team all Pwn. You're right that, that was a great pwn. -

LMAO great pwn. I had no idea ccrunner was a teacher. That is pretty sad. I hope he is a gym teacher, or I will lose all of little faith I have had in public education. -
