    That's pretty amazing.

    2 questions though

    1. is the camera in a zoo? it sounds like it is sitting in the middle of a fucking monkey exhibit
    2. how are there any lights left on after all of that?
  • Speedofsand
my guess is its a remote tower news/traffic cam. It kinda looked liked Baghdad getting bombed. I wonder how many homes had PCs and TVs blown up from surges.

From a dude who lives on the 34th floor of the Tower. He has tons of pictures and stuff he takes from there.

Saw a much more impressive lightning show last night just north of Chillicothe.

But this isn't lightning, and isn't supposed to happen. I think that is what makes this so impressive.

It's quite obvious that the video wasn't lightning, WebFire. ;)

What I was saying is that I had watched an impressive lightning display that lasted for at least 45 minutes that was awe inspiring. I had never before seen the ground light up for seconds at a time in the middle of the night.

there is more description on youtube now, with news links. NBC aired this clip. It was 5 miles from his balcony. 4 mile area of cans popping. Lots of people thought they were under attack.
