Bought a used motorcycle and have the notarized title. Now what?
-
LJas for answering your original question of "now what?" my suggestion would be buying a large life insurance policy, updating your Last Will and Testament and making sure your organ donation designation is up to date

Yeah but they go with the style of the bike. You going open or full face? -

Full face. My current helmet is an old Bell I bought on the cheap to get me through my Riders Edge course. It's white and has some weird gray design on it. I'm going to get a new helmet in the next few weeks.
Most likely something like this:

No idea. Leaning towards candy red or black. -
justincredibleI've spent a few hours the last two night polishing the chrome on the bike. I'm not done yet but it looks great compared to how it looked when I bought it. The bike had sat in his garage since the end of the riding season in 2009 so it had a lot of grime and the chrome had lost its shine. It's amazing what a $1.70 bottle of turtle wax chrome polish will do.

I prefer Mothers. They have some really good products for metal polishing. The power ball is money, saves so much time -

What are the prices of their products like? I bought the turtle wax stuff because it was the cheapest and I figured it was worth a try. I'm not sure if the chrome could look any better than it does now. The only shitty part is using an old t shirt because my fat fingers can't fit into a lot of the cracks and crevices. -

This is what I ended up doing this morning. It didn't take as long as I was expecting. I was in and out of the title office and bmv in 15 minutes. -
Speedofsandthe powerball attachment is the only way to go Justin. Mothers or Turtle wax are both good.

Think they'll have this at Meijer? -
Raw Dawgin' itjustincredible;764022 wrote:Think they'll have this at Meijer?
i don't know what Meijer is, but i think auto zone or pep boys sells them. It's much better than hand polishing. Also, they have a cone attachment too for small places you cant get with the ball or your fingers. -

I take it you aren't from Ohio then?
I'll take the bike out on a ride tonight and head over to Auto Zone and pick some stuff up.
