    I'm hoping that most of them are teens and were very young when 9-11 happened and just don't pay attention to the news over the last 10 years. Fuck it, I agree with Tobias.

    If they're 16 years old, they were 6 when the WTC was attacked. Can you blame them? I haven't been in school in 11 years, but I doubt it's in history books at this point. Parents may have also protected them from learning about the dreadful events that day.

    I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm just saying that there may be some decent reason as to why they don't know. My children, on the other hand, will be forced to watch current events. :D

    Are you serious? A co-worker of mine has two children (11 and 12) and they both know who Osama is. They would have been 1 and 2 when 9-11 happened. If someone is 10 years or older they should know who Osama is seeing that we are in a 10 year battle with AQ.

    Hell, when Desert Storm occured I was 8 years old and all of us knew who Saddam Hussein was. There is no excuse for a teenager not to know who Bin Laden is/was.
