Light bulbs dont emit light....they suck dark. In the abscence of dark there is light. They should be called dark suckers. WHenthey are full of dark they stop working.
If I didn't graduate elementary school, I'd buy it.

This is why some Christians drive me nuts, they make those of us that are sane look really bad.

The Bible doesn't say that light originates from the moon, it says that the moon gives light to the Earth at night. This is a true statement, if we are facing away from the sun (night time) and there was no moon, we would nearly be pitch black (save for a few stars) the moon reflects the suns light to those who are on the half of the Earth that is in night time.

However, simple logic and elementary level science is well past that woman.

All I can say is WOW. How do some people survive in the world with their stupidity? Can these people explain the phases of the moon? Did God just turn off the light that the moon "emits"?

But the moon is sometimes only visible during the day due to earths axis or whatever right? So at night is the moon still reflecting light for us? Or is it just reflections off all the shit in the air? Serious question. I really don't understand it.

If its a new moon or whatever and it is night time, the only light you are seeing is of other stars (faint) or ambient light around your neighborhood. Go out into a wide open field far away from any buildings with light bulbs on a night that has a new moon (no moon showing) and it will be REALLY dark out. You will have some light from the other stars and to be quite honest, it will be the most beautiful starlit sky you've ever seen, you can see the stars so much clearer that way.

Out in the middle of the ocean gives the best portrayal of this. The first time I went outside on the ocean was awe inspiring.

Aye, out in the ocean on a boat it is amazing. This ambient light (or light polution as astronomers will call it) is exactly why all good telescopes are out in the middle of no where and not in major cities.

If the moon was made of spare ribs, would ya eat it?..... I know I would, heck I'd have seconds! Then polish it off with a tall, cool Budweiser.
