Grady's going to get traded for a cord of firewood if you don't buy enough of those to cover his salary.

Just started throwing Killians back and about to switch to Captain.

Had a couple of Bloody Marys at Hooters earlier. Then a DFH Hellhound. Now a Rivertown Lambic. Lots more in the fridge.

Didn't make it to the Captain. Ended up stopping after 9 beers. Plan on picking it back up tomorrow night and making the bottle of Captain vanish.

Had a Pabst at the Manchester Orchestra/An Horse/Harrison Hudson concert tonight in Cleveland. I like me some good beers but I also love me some PBR. Weird.

The Captain is not my hero, never liked dark rum. Had 4 Tiger pints at the club and am chilling with a nice cabernet on the deck watching the moon...debating rallying to watch the Kentucky Derby, probably a lost cause.

PBR is a solid beer. I think it's funny when my buddies that drink Bud Light all of the time finally try PBR and can only drink half of what they usually do. Irritates me when people call it a hillbilly beer. My pops said it used to be a big time beer at the bars and I know it's one of the older breweries in the states. They just don't do advertising for some reason.

Captain is one of my favorite liquors. I will drink the bottle tonight. I usually do a few shots of it and then mix it with Pepsi. I am also going to try Guinness tonight.

Them not advertising in a traditional sense is purposeful. Keeps their image as "authentic". They were one of if not the best selling beer in America in the 70s and then that died down until around the early 2000s when "hipsters" started drinking it. Pabst has embraced that pretty well by sponsering concerts and shit (bars like the Grog Shop, etc) so they're doing pretty well now.

I remember my Dad drinking PBR and their cheaper beer Red, White, and Blue back in the 70's. I don't think I've ever had one.

I have a feeling I'll be drinking in about an hour or so. Maybe a half hour if I can bust my ass and get shit done.

Probably not going to begin drinking for a few hours but definitely ready to get to it! Going to try a few new dark beers tonight.

It's about that time....gonna head to town for some dinner and the derby, then headin' to a buddies house for the Mosley/Pacquiao fight.

I suggest picking some up when you're strapped for cash, the best cheap beer out there. As to the topic, drinking Founders Double Trouble right now.

Just might do that BORIS. I've heard they won a few medals as of late. Drank some Bloody Mary's earlier, now I'm getting ready to head to the fridge to see what's chilled.

Don't get too excited. It's still bad beer, it's just the best bad beer.
