  When I got hit out front of my house I had to have a police report before my insurance would cover it. I got a note the person told me there info and i turned it into my insurance company. They told me I had to have a report to claim anything. The police didnt charge anyone but made it clear in the report of what happened and who was at fault. Not sure how all that crap works but my insurance company paid me then went and got money from their company.

  just file it w your insurance and let them stalk her...you shouldnt have to pay a deductible if you werent in the car when it was damaged..at least thats how mine works...i had a similar situation at a friends house and his neighbor backed into my car...she knocked on the door and gave me her info, but when i got estimates she balked and said my car wasnt that damaged and she wasnt paying. my insurance took over and got it taken care of through her insurance

  I haven't read the whole thread.....if you know her ins company call them and try to file a claim against her with whatever info you have. If you have first, last name, phone #, and or address they should be able to do it. If not and you want your ins company assistance call them and file a claim and they will take care of it if you have the coverage then your ins company will go after her/her ins company.

  I don't have her insurance company but I do have her full name and phone number. I'm going to call this lady once more today and if I can't get ahold of her I'm going to file a claim tomorrow.

  Tried calling her again about 15 minutes ago. Again no answer. My wife told me to not worry about leaving a message since it's clear the lady is just ignoring me. I'm going to call my insurance agent tomorrow morning and get the ball rolling on getting it replaced. If I end up paying a dime out of my pocket I am going to be beyond pissed off. I'd hate to think they couldn't get the money from her, though, if I've got her full name, phone number, and a written confession of busting my shit.
