Anyone ever cheat/been cheated on and still continued a relationship?

Don't take this the wrong way, but as another poster said, someone that takes a cheater back is a pussy and doesn't mind letting their significant other fuck around. Which is basically what you just said, that you didn't care. Guarantee this girl does it again because she knows you won't break up over it.
2 girls have cheated on me, its not like everyone Ive ever dated.
As for taking them back, I guess Im of the belief that people mature. If you think someone in HS who cheats on you is going to cheat on you again when you are 30, I dont know what to say. I know personally I would never cheat again, but Im much more mature. In HS I cheated on girls (ironically, not the 2 that cheated on me lol).
I wouldnt stay with someone at this point in my life if they cheated, but I would certainly forgive them almost instantly, because in the end the personal relationship is more important than the dating aspect. Ive been drunk, to the point where I wasnt sure what happened with girls. Mistakes happen, why dwell on them if they arent affecting your life past the initial shock? -

I understand what you're saying, that in the end friendship is the most important thing, and if you told everyone who ever wronged you to fuck off then you wouldn't have friends anymore...
But I just think cheating is one of the most personal, disrespectful attacks you can do to someone you're suppose to care about. I don't think it can be simply put as "well we were drunk and shit happens" -
Fab4RunnerI've never been cheated on (that I know of) so I honestly don't know what I would do. I hope I never have to find out.

FatHobbitI have been cheated on, and I gave her a second chance. It lasted another 4 years, but I don't think I would do it the same if I'm ever cheated on again.

j_crazydoes it count if you never got caught?
when my wife and i were in HS, she (my wife) broke up with me Jr. year. I started dating this other girl like 3 weeks after we broke up, and about 2 weeks after that, I hooked up with my (now) wife. I told my wife that I had broken up with that other girl that day (I hadn't), but I did it the next day. -
georgemc80It would be a miserable time in one's life. To somehow forgive while feeling of devastation and disgust would be the major roadblock. I have been married for 17 years. I believe I would want the marriage to continue, if it was an isolated incident. We were young when we were married, grew up together, made dreams and plans. It would be hard, but I would overlook it once for the family. There is nothing more important than family, even if one makes an egregious error.
Ofcourse, being single is a very scary situation after this many years. The dating world seems like a lifetime ago.
Plus on a lighter note, child support would take all the money I would want for prostitutes...lol. -

This is where I would be "guilty."
I kissed a girl (and I liked it) when I was dating a girl my junior year in high school. I was gone for a week from my girlfriend, so when I got back, I broke up with her. I also kissed another girl my freshman year in college, broke up with the girlfriend I had the day or so after. My thought processes were since I was breaking up with the girls, it was alright to kiss the others. -
O-TrapOh if we're not talking about sleeping with others, then I'm guilty. Back when I was in college, I dated two girls at the same time. They never found out. I went back out to Indiana for college and I broke up with them, one right after the other, on the phone.

I'm not THAT old. It was only about 2004, and I had already had Facebook for a couple years, as did many others. -
