Took a New Job

  Well folks, I have accepted a new position with my current company that I'm pretty excited about. I've been working in production operatiosn for 4 years and have gotten some great experience from Wyoming and now working the Gulf of Mexico, but the basics of what I'm doing doesn't really change from one place to the other.
  
  My new job is as a Drilling Engineer, I'll be working 14 days on and have 14 days off. I get to stay where I'm at, (don't have to move) which is lovely as j_baby 2.0 comes in September. It'll be something I've never experienced and will be totally a reboot from what I've been doing. I'm excited as hell about it.
  
  Here's the best part. I'm going to have 14 days off every month. so I've already started making arrangments for my deer hunting trips to Ohio for the start of archery season and for shotgun season.

  where ever there is a rig that needs me. My first assignment is looking like it's going to be in Oklahoma. But we're active in North Dakota, Wyoming, and Texas so I could go a lot of places. Plus there is always the chance we get back to business in the Gulf and I could always go offshore again.

  plus the wife found out this morning. j_baby 2.0 is a boy. Super pumped about that (not because I wanted a boy so badly, but because my wife was set on having kids until we had a boy, and i thought 2 kids would be enough).
