Question for CCW carriers
-
dwccrewWhat is your weapon of choice to carry around?
-
I Wear Pants
-
Belly35My personal carry weapon is the Sig P220 .45
I can handle a .45, like the feel and stopping power of the .45. I'm a fan of the Sig pistols
-
Bio-HazzzzardI prefer the Glock 23 which holds thirteen 40 caliber rounds and is small enough to conceal.
-
tsst_fballfanDepends on the time of year. Winter with bulky clothes and coats it is easy to conceal a 9mm or 45acp. In summer I would prefer a pocket holstered Ruger LCP with CrimsonTrace laser.

LJKel Tec 9mm

Walther PK380 new is $400.00 ..good rating ... he has extra clips and 5-6 box of ammo .. Then I would think about buying it (not a fan of Walther Weapons)ZWICK 4 PREZ;734312 wrote:My buddy is trying to sell me his Walther .380 for $200. Worth it?
Walther PPK/S new is $550.00 .. lower rating again extra clips and ammo... Then I would think about buying it (not a fan of Walther Weapons)

thavoiceQuestion:
Is it pretty easy for servicemembers to get a CCW? Someone said it was much easier than a normal citizen. -

wel, they just don't have to do the training, but I believe you have to provide your military training cert -
Belly35
No truth to that... You take a test and classes/ three day classes and qualify with a certified trainer. Get a signed certification of the completion of the training. Take it to the Sherriff Department, pay the fee and then in a few weeks pick up the card.thavoice;734321 wrote:Question:

I'm looking to buy a Glock 23 soon.

I think it depends on if you are certified with a handgun or not. When I was in the service, I was not qualified with handgun, therefore I had to take classes to get CCW.
The class is easy and only 12 hours is needed. I did it all in one day, then went to the Sheriff's office with my certificate and then in a week or 2 picked up my card. -
