Which site is worth more?

I didn't mean it that way. Their numbers are probably off, but they are valuing based off of page views and add revenue. Facebook is valued at $50 billion based on potential, not on current revenue.

SMH, never mind. It's not even worth explaining to you.

He doesn't quite have it right, but he's close. Facebook, assets and all, are the $50B mark. The site itself (directories, hosting, domain, etc.) is the $1.1B value.

Most valuations I've seen have it somewhere between 25 and 75 billion. Though the most recent I read was 60-75.

Related, Zynga (the company that makes Farmville and such) has been valued in the $10 billion range by some. Incredible.

Goldman Sachs recently just made an investment of 500 million, accounting for approximately 1% of the company. Therefore, the valuation has to be around 50 billion.

You may not, but in actuality, people still do. Not like they used to, but they do.

I think the more and more we get inundated with ads in increasing numbers and different ways more people start to tune them out.

    Just my thoughts.

I wonder what the best offer they would get today would be if they tried to sell the huddle? I would love to see how much less than what they paid it would be.

It's funny you mention it, because I know that I notice them from time to time (and trust me, I've been inundated with banners to the hilt), as they are usually "targeted" (related to the discussion at hand). If it's something I care about, I may click through. Actually, one of them on here was a non-profit political organization that will soon be a client of my employer ... all because I saw a banner for them on here. :D

I wonder how much Mike Clark's site is worth? :p

Well then it is people like you who make the ads keep on coming!!!
