Well...as a black guy, that's probably the lamest shit I've ever seen.

I don't see the big deal as long as the game is true to its origins, there is much to appreciate about the SWAC, the MEAC and the athletes (and culture) it produced, guys like Jerry Rice, Steve McNair, Doug Williams, etc... As of now these teams are more or less forgotten in the EA NCAA games. Doesn't seem to be a problem to give them their due, the title could probably be a little more politically correct, but otherwise as long as the game is good it is fine with me.

That said, looking at reviews it appears the game really, really stinks. How difficult it is to make a good football game today? Apparently, very.

    This.

The title sucks, and apparently the game sucks, but giving the SWAC and the rest their due is a cool thing.

I agree the tittle is horrible. It makes you think of the average black guy playing college football which is not odd or different as blacks make up some 70% or so of the college football population. The game seems to be OK and is centered toward SWAC and MEAC which is a cool thing as there bands are awesome.

    Affirmative Gaming?

Terrible ideas usually make terrible games. Who honestly thought this was a good idea for a video game?

Thats racist. You cant have an all white video game.

I mean seriously. If EA Sports would have come out with a game called The White College Football experience, Sharpton NAACP ACLU would have been all over that, like a hobo on a hotdog. They would have gotten sued, put out of business, and anyone who bought it would have been labeled a racist. There is a serious double standard in this country.

Waiting for the first person to say "You do have the white version of the game, it's called NCAA Football 2011."

Bethune Cookman is going to be a team to watch this year and until Coach Brian Jenkins leaves for a BCS job in the future. I can't wait to see QB Quentin Williams.
Is the FAMU marching band in the game ? They are my favorite after TBDBITL.

It never creases to amaze me the deep thinkers who are convinced the two are remotely the same. Idiots.

Probably the folks running the SWAC, MEAC, and HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). My opinion? Just put them in the normal game.
