GoPensSo when the turf gets bad in November, can they blame it on Batman? The earthquake effect looks pretty cool.

I don't like this move at all, and not bc I'm a Cleveland fan. This is something that would have been done with the old Batman franchise. -

If this information is correct, I am nervous about this film. Nolan has never let me down, but whoa:

First 8 MINUTES? I don't know if ANY movie has every shown 8 CONSECUTIVE minutes of their movie as a preview before someone else's movie. Never seen it before.Quint;939139 wrote:Rumor is that the first 8 minutes of The Dark Knight Rises will be attached to the newest Mission Impossible movie.

If I remember correctly, the Dawn of the Dead remake showed the first 10 minutes as a preview.Scarlet_Buckeye;939182 wrote:First 8 MINUTES? I don't know if ANY movie has every shown 8 CONSECUTIVE minutes of their movie as a preview before someone else's movie. Never seen it before. -

Dumb. -

The Brothers Bloom did it (7 minutes), but that was more of an arthouse/independent film.Scarlet_Buckeye;939182 wrote:First 8 MINUTES? I don't know if ANY movie has every shown 8 CONSECUTIVE minutes of their movie as a preview before someone else's movie. Never seen it before.
The first 7 minutes were awesome, the rest of the film wasn't that great. -
hangonsloopyThe article I read made it sound like it would be an 8 minute preview, not really the first 8 minutes of the movie.

Makes a lot more sense, still this has Spiderman 3/X-Men 3 written all over it.hangonsloopy;939346 wrote:The article I read made it sound like it would be an 8 minute preview, not really the first 8 minutes of the movie.

Catwoman is an awful film character, and I'm not sure Hathaway can pull this off. Sounds like Nolan and Warner Bros. rushed into this without a coherent script so they are throwing more and more characters into a pile of crap. -

Not excited for Catwoman at all, but I am pumped [a little pun intended] for Bane.jordo212000;939486 wrote:I'm not real excited by her or Bane in all honesty -

They did it with The Dark Knight. The entire bank robbery scene was attached to I Am Legend in IMAX.Scarlet_Buckeye;939182 wrote:First 8 MINUTES? I don't know if ANY movie has every shown 8 CONSECUTIVE minutes of their movie as a preview before someone else's movie. Never seen it before. -

GoPensInteresting things from this article. TDKR takes place 8 years after The Dark Knight so there's not going to be much connection with what happened in that movie and The Joker. And Warner Bros. is already talking about another reboot of the franchise after this last Nolan/Bale movie.
