For an HDMI cable it's like $2.50 to my zipjustincredible wrote:
What is shipping like on firefold?LJ wrote:
I don't think that's true. When you are ordering specialty items it's great to have them contact you and make sure it's what you needed.justincredible wrote: Yeah, I've never needed customer service from monoprice either. I'll check out firefold but I think great customer service is overrated when you never need them anyway.
Also, their cables are cheaper to begin with at Firefold.
I don't really order any specialty items, though. Just regular old cables. -
NateBeing an idiot and not knowing how long of a cable you need does not justify cause for them to have good customer service.

I used to work at Best Buy in Home Theater. They used to push us SO hard to try and sell the Monster HDMI cables and Monster power strips. The markup is unreal on those, you should see what the price of the employee is vs. public price. Felt bad trying to talk people into buyin them.wes_mantooth wrote: You guys are all crazy.....buy Monster cables. -

I'm always amazed at the people that actually buy them.Benny The Jet wrote:

I hope you work in the backroom and never deal with customers.Keebler wrote: Being an idiot and not knowing how long of a cable you need does not justify cause for them to have good customer service.
I dunno what your deal is. Firefold is cheaper and has better service than monoprice. What's the problem? -
OneBuckeyeAnyone know the difference between 1.4 and 1.3a HDMI cables?

OneBuckeyeFound the answer on wikipedia... I wonder if there are any devices that use 1.4 technology yet.

I didn't read the article, but everytime they update them, they are always backward compatible. As long as the price is close to the same, I would buy the newer version.OneBuckeye wrote: Found the answer on wikipedia... I wonder if there are any devices that use 1.4 technology yet.
