The 50 best NBA dunks of all-time

This is better than anything on that list IMO. And I'm the biggest MJ fan and biggest fan of that Vince dunk.

    Dude does a 720.

The guy was trying to take a charge. Which, again, from a basketball standpoint, was the right thing to do in that position. I don't know what other defense he could have attempted, I think most players with any kind of basketball sense try to take that charge, because, well....they don't expect to get jumped over.

VC was a good dunker but as in-game dunking goes........if you argue against Jordan you lose all credilbility.
LOL, trust me, I saw Jordan dunk all over people. But when did I ever try to argue that VC was absolutely the best in game dunker ever? I said he's up there and you can make an argument--if you disagree with that then YOU lose your credibility. But it's already gone because we're talking individual dunks and there is no doubt that VC's is the best. Somewhere in your little head you decided to change the argument to the best ever in game dunker, rather than the best ever in game dunk, and didn't tell anyone.

And you also told me there were thousands of examples of guys jumping OVER 7 footers to dunk in a game...I asked you to post them, where are they?!

The VC dunk is probably the best single dunk ever, MJ's a great dunker and has great dunk but dunking ON 7 foooters and jumping OVER a F*CKING 7 footer is two seperate categories....and as far as I see there is only one person in the jumping over a 7 footer category. Where are the thousands of examples?

Jordan was the greatest dunker ever BUT the Vince Carter dunk is the best dunk ever. End.of.Story.

It's not just dunking over a 7 footer, he jumped over a 7 footer to dunk it. Maye it's becuase not many people have jumped over a 7 footer, but alot have dunked on a 7 footers.

Look at around the 18 second mark on the Vince Carter dunk. Is there seriously somebody in the background wearing a cowboy hat?

Looks like one of the Olympic officials or ushers. I think I remember seeing those blue/yellow shirts and those hats a lot during the games.

    Looks like one to me.

LOL, dunking is pretty much all about jumping. If you can't jump high enough you can't dunk--the guys that can jump higher can do crazier things in the air in most cases. VC is the only guy I've ever seen jump over a 7 footer EVER, let alone in a GAME. You may as well give up, you started talking about credibility after you lost all of yours. There are several guys that you can make arguments for for "best ever dunker" but the best dunk ever is locked up as of right now. #2--not even close. You don't have to agree, but a poll where about 90% of the people agree will make you look stupid. And that is what it would be, about 90% of any semi intelligent basketball fans.
