Is there anyone still on JJ whom you miss?
-
Swamp FoxI don't know. When I try to get on the JJ site, it always cuts off before I can connect. I don't have any idea what's going on over there. It makes it a little difficult to even know who's still on that site. I know, speaking just for me, that the new site is nice, but we still need a lot more traffic to make it enjoyable for those of us who are heavily into high school sports topics. I post on several different sites now, trying to achieve the same level of enjoyment I once had and I haven't been able to reach that level as yet. I would like to see less animosity and more sports talk. From everyone!!

original_sinDid you notice (for the ones that still look or post over at JJ), it takes triple clicks on the back button to access? Curious but is that to pad click counts?
I notices a few days ago that someone on the "bleacher" section started a thread about this very thing and the post was gone very quickly. -
Tigerfan00AAF will drop you like a bad habit if you mention anything about "clicking"

Funny you say that because I noticed the same thing..it's like the back button doesn't work over there.original_sin wrote: Did you notice (for the ones that still look or post over at JJ), it takes triple clicks on the back button to access? Curious but is that to pad click counts?

killer_ewokMots and br1986fb.
-
CenterBHSFanYeah, I had problems clicking before I stopped posting over there.
Now clicking is soooo much smoother over here
Not that there is anything wrong about multiple clickings...
It's just when I click, I want results. Over here, when I click, I know I'll get what I need! -
mtrulzI think Cosme and Steakfan50 are coming here soon.

GoPens
I noticed that and thought it was just my computer that was forcing me to triple click.original_sin wrote: Did you notice (for the ones that still look or post over at JJ), it takes triple clicks on the back button to access? Curious but is that to pad click counts?

I personally know yj_runfan, though I've not seen him in awhile. I'll track down his e-mail address and get him over here. He's a quality poster, especially in Track and Cross Country.fan_from_texas wrote: yj_runfan -

Polar Bear 73Hi Myron, thanks for thinking about me.
I have been kind of lurking for a couple of weeks now, just reading some of the threads on here. I see enough of my old friends on here that I decided to go ahead and join, so I can keep in touch with them.
I am not here to bash or badmouth JJ's. I had a lot of fun on that site and met a lot of very good people through that site. I was one of the first 500 members on the Huddle. I intend to continue to as a member and moderator on the site as long as it lasts, which I hope is a very long time. I still have many good friends posting on there as well.
I hope to be able to peaceably co-exist on both sites. This looks like a fun, happening place to be and I am looking forward to being an active member.
It's really good to see a lot of familiar names again. It also always nice to see some great pictures of Fab4. Gee girl, I knew you when you were still jailbait and got one of the infamous huddlers thrown out of a B-dubs, and just look at you now. -
NateLoL an SBulldog99 unintentional mention.
Good to see you here PB73.
I hope you don't get the axe on JJ for posting here. It's been a trend. -
Polar Bear 73Keebler,
You must be using a different name now, to recognize the SBulldog99 reference. He definitely provided some interesting moments at one of the first huddle gatherings in Central Ohio.
I would hope that it hasn't got to the point that I get banned from JJ's for posting on another site. But as I've always said, "you plays the game, you pays the price". -
ChesapeakeWelcome Polar Bear!
Good to see another JJ Huddle P.O.W. released. -

1) What was the name of the camel spider that was trained in Iraq?
2) What was my old truck?
3) Where did you, me, Polar Cub, CFF, and a couple others meet for lunch many years back?
(Sorry, but after the MPD fakes, I'm skeptical of everyone. Actually, I was that way before, but it's a nice screening process for me)
