UFC 110
-
LeonardoFebruary 21st, 2010 in Sydney, Australia.
This card is shaping up to be pretty solid, depending on if certain bouts get scheduled or not.
Already set:
Wanderlei Silva vs. Michael Bisping
Cro Cop vs. Ben Rothwell
Stephan Bonner vs. Krzysztof Soszynski
Rumored:
Cain Velasquez vs. Shane Carwin for interim Heavyweight title
Georges St-Pierre vs. Dan Hardy for Welterweight title
Rich Franklin vs. Keith Jardine -
Fab1bSolid card indeed!
-
EnforcerI hope Silva does the same thing to Bisping that Hendo did!!
-
detectivegibblesI want to see that Bonner Soszynski fight happen. I loved Krystof on TUF as well as Bonner.
I want to see Carwin fight too. I think he poses a threat to Brock once he is healthy.
And I just love Franklin. No homo. -
bigdaddy2003When did they announce Bisping vs Wandy?
-
Fab1bI think Krystof will handle Bonner! Carwin/Velasquez will be great, though I can't wait for Brock to get back!!

Agreed, don't think Bonner will be much of a challenge for Krystoff. As for Brock returning, I really hope Dana was just stating worst case scenario when he said that "hopefully he'll be able to fight again". That'd be a huge loss for the company if he's done.Fab1b wrote: I think Krystof will handle Bonner! Carwin/Velasquez will be great, though I can't wait for Brock to get back!!
Does anyone remember light heavyweight Vinny Margahles or however you spell it, from the season 8 of TUF? What ever happened to him? Checked online, can't find him on the UFC fighter roster. Seemed like a really good young fighter. -
Fab1bLast I know Vinny was fighting in some small organizations.
-
BuckeyeBlueThe problem with Vinny was he was pretty much a one trick pony. He didn't have the standup/wrestling to compliment his world class Jiu Jitsu. With some training I think he could have a very successful career in the UFC.
110 does indeed sound like an awesome card. Hope to see GSP knock Hardy's block off. Carwin/Velasquez would be a very good fight too.
