UFC 106 Tonight

  • Benny The Jet
UFC 106 tonight, marks the return of Tito. Here's hoping Forrest knocks his block off!

On a side note, no bars around me are showing it tonight, anyone know of anywhere online you can watch it free?

Sopcast has been the best thing to use for PPV's. If you have it or download it now I can pm you the channel to watch it on.

I think it be pretty cool to see Tito win tonight. To bad won't be able to watch it.

Rumble and Koscheck is the best fight on the card!

I also want Forrest to knock out Tito tonight.

I went ahead and bought it even though I have my doubts about the card.

I think I would definitely bought the original card when it was announced, but just can't bring myself to spend that much on card that now appears weak. Wasn't the original supposed to have Lesnar as the main and the Forrest fight as the co-main?
  • bigdaddy2003
^ No, the original card was Lesnar/Carwin and Ortiz/Coleman. Coleman had to drop out and Griffin took his place.

It's not the best card by names but I have bought worse lol. Well actually in my experience the card that you expect to be bad generally turns into the best.

Very true, ended up buying the one back in August or September with Couture vs. Nog as the main event, card wasn't much on paper...but that was one of the best overall night of fight's I've seen in a while.

^ I agree. I was shaky on buying that one also but very happy I did. I'm definitely getting 107-110.

This is the first fight I've had trouble finding a stream. Usually its pretty easy to get one. I'll check out Sopcast I've never heard of it before.

It is basically a P2P TV player that you download. I have used it for all sorts of sports online. If you download it and want the channel let me know.
  • eersandbeers
I downloaded it. Do I just enter the channel name for the fight?

    Any results?

Good card until the Koscheck/Johnson fight. It was underwhelming and stopped three times because of a knee to the head and then two eye pokes. Really not as good as anyone thought it would be.

Nogueira proved he is one of the top at 205 though with a great knockout.

Is this over yet? if not icl..what channel is it?
  • eersandbeers
Forrest just won the decision over Tito. Like usual, Tito made a bunch of excuses as to why he lost.
  • GoChiefs
WOOHOO! I hate Tito. Maybe he'll leave again.

Man. Disappointed a-gain. The last few cards I've watched had not lived up to their billing. I thought Kos-Rumble was going to be epic. Turns out, it was a total lackluster fight. Griffin-Ortiz wasn't that impressive either. Solids fights, just not anything worth purchasing.
  • Leonardo
Very close fight between Tito/Griffin. Tito did jack crap in the 3rd round.

Ortiz-Griffin III in April or June?
  • capninsano
I think Tito thought he won the first two rounds because he was in complete survival mode in the third. He maybe tried for two take downs and threw a few jabs that was it.

I was pretty happy with the Griffin/Ortiz fight, but the Koscheck/Johnson fight was awful. This fight on this card were pretty decent, but as long as UFC keeps having a fight a month the names aren't going to be all that overwhelming.

Next month is a good one though.
