Do you pay attention to post counts now?

  • Stiffman
With the ability to customize your user title, do you find that you don't pay attention to post totals as much as you might have on vajj since they are no longer tied to the title status?

who cares about how many posts people have? If you get off to post counts then good for you.
Some people don't have as much free time as others.

There are those that do care free. I'm not one of them though. I was on jj for over 8 years and had around 2,500 total posts, if that. I come to read more than anything else. That's just one of the things I like about freehuddle. I see someone's custom title and have more interest in what it says than I do in a post count. Couldn't do that on jj.

Never have paid much attention to my post count, never will.

I never have, and don't plan on it.

    What's the point?

Don't really care. I like it that there is a count though for some reason. but have never felt a need to "pad" it..

Because of the nature of my job and the seasonal responsibilities of coaching, my posting is sporadic. In the off season I have more time but there is less for me to post about. In season, I have more to talk about but less time to do it. I guess I like the idea of post counts being recorded because it is fun to see the count grow, but it isn't the most important aspect of posting. I still enjoy the give and take and the exchange of sometimes vastly different views.

Uh, how about that. I never knew there was a counter in the upper right corner. And I did not realize there was one on "that other site over there", either. That is odd.

No, never cared about post counts. It's retarded.
  • BORIStheCrusher
Maybe. I don't know, not really.

GayGayHuddle was always the place where post count mattered for some reason instead of actual content. AAF would just post everything on the news in there to pad his count.

Nice number, Justin. I confess I truly laughed out loud when I checked your count. :) As for me, I couldn't care less how many posts I, or anyone else, has. I do agree though that the "status" on JJ huddle made people pay attention. With the ability to change your own "status" message, I also find myself checking that far more than post count. Some of them are pretty entertaining!
