I Wear PantsI like PBR, also this.

bigdaddy2003My pops said that back in the day PBR was the popular beer to get at the bar so I am big in believing that if it had more advertising it would still be a popular beer.
Here is a funny story.
A couple years ago I was going in the local gas stations "beer cave" and I grabbed a couple 30 packs of PBR. Well a guy I knew came in and saw what I had and said "damn man how can you drink that hillbilly shit" as he was grabbing a case of Natty Light. lol sorry but PBR is about 37 times less hillbilly-ish than Natty Light. PBR at least tastes like beer unlike Natty that tastes like dirty tap water. -
I Wear PantsPBR actually doesn't advertise it's part of it's strategy and brand identity. It was at one time the most popular beer in the country.

bigdaddy2003^ I've only been drinking it for the past 3 years but I must say I love it. Budweiser is my first choice but PBR is definitely an option in the decision every time.

that_guyIf I'm not drinking a microbrew, PBR is usually my go to beer. I greatly prefer it over Budweiser or Miller Lite (god awful). It helps that PBR is on tap at pretty much every bar here in Portland, and significantly cheaper than other beers. Though I am starting to incorporate Miller Hi Life into the mix, as more and more bars are offering crazy cheap hi-life specials...
