Firefox automatically checks the spelling of words that you enter in text boxes containing more than one line. As soon as you finish typing a word, it is checked against the words in the installed dictionary. If the word is not found in the dictionary, it will be underlined in red.heel023 wrote: I'm trying to use spell check on Firefox but not sure how to do it.
Also, If the Firefox spell checker is not working, some things to check, any one of them can cause the spell checker to not work.
1/ Select Tools > Options > Advanced > General and make sure that Check my spelling as I type is selected.
2/ Right-click on a text area and make sure there is a tick next to Check Spelling, there should be a tick by this if spell checking is enabled. -
BORIStheCrusherDo you like Huey Lewis and the News?
-
BORIStheCrusherTheir early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercial and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
